Patricia Ann Quillen Christian

Patricia Ann Quillen Christian, 84, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2026. Patricia was born to the late Floyd Quillen and Dana Renfro Quillen on March 17, 1942 in Kingsport. A graduate of Lynn View High School, Patricia worked for the Kingsport Press for 30+ years, where she was a multi-department printing operations employee. She married the love of her life, Ronald Christian on May 1, 1961. Patricia was a devoted member of West View Baptist Church in Kingsport. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her family and friends; this was how she expressed her love for others. Patricia also was a talented seamstress, making most of her dresses herself. She loved being near the water and going fishing; she found peace in this.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ronald “Pete” Christian; brothers, Prezzle Quillen, Ronald “Ronnie” Quillen and Bobby Jack Quillen.

Survivors include her son, Wesley Christian and wife, Marsha; grandchildren, Emily Dean, Evie Christian; brothers, Richard Quillen and wife, Dianne, Floyd Quillen, Jr. and wife, Missy; sisters-in-law, Katrinca Quillen, Rose Quillen, Cathy Quillen and Sharon Skeen and husband, Danny; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their children.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Signature Healthcare of Rogersville and Amedisys Hospice for their care and loving kindness.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at West View Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Stout officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
