Patricia Carolyn Coulter Hoss

Patricia Carolyn (Coulter) Hoss, age 78, of Jonesborough, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2026 passing peacefully with her husband of 55 years, Richard, by her side. Patricia was born to the late Earl and Carolyn Coulter on August 2, 1948 in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Science Hill High School. Patricia worked as a teacher’s aide from 1979 to 2001 for the Washington County School District. Patricia was a devoted member of Crosspoint Church in Jonesborough. She was affectionately known as “Mommaw” to her family who will always cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard “Paw” Hoss; daughter, Renee Houser and husband, Kevin; granddaughter, Alexis Freeman and fiancé Harlan Webb; sister, Rebecca Ballard; brothers, David and Tim Coulter; nieces and nephews, Stephen Ballard, Melanie Ballard, Vicki Casteel, Addam Coulter, and Lainey Coulter.

The family will receive friends from 6pm – 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Crosspoint Church, 111 Conley Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659. A service to celebrate Patricia’s life will follow from 7:30pm – 8pm officiated by Pastor Greg Doebler.
