Patricia Ann Morton

In loving memory of my mom, Patricia Ann Morton. Momsie passed away in her home at peace with the Lord.

Patricia Ann Morton, born March 30, 1936, in Emporium, Pennsylvania, lived a life marked by faith, family, service, and a heart for bringing joy to others.

Patricia was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of faith. She leaves behind her children, Joel Morton, Debby Gibson, and Anna Tester. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Francine Morton.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Bryce Morton, Destony Morton, Kristen Morton, Daniel Gibson, Patricia Gibson, Kari Keeth, Misty Hedgepath, Amy Gangaraj, Haley Keeth, and Cory Keeth, as well as her 18 great-grandchildren. Her family was an important part of her life, and the generations that follow her are a beautiful part of the legacy she leaves behind.

One of Patricia’s greatest joys was serving in the puppet ministry at Fountain of Life Bible Church. For an incredible 32 years, she used that ministry to share God’s love, laughter, and encouragement with others. She especially loved taking the puppet ministry into nursing homes, where she could brighten the days of residents and bring smiles to their faces. It was a ministry that perfectly reflected Patricia’s giving spirit and her desire to serve others.

For more than nine decades, Patricia’s life touched many people. While her family will deeply miss her presence, they will remember the love she gave, the faith she lived, the laughter and joy she shared, and the countless lives she touched through her years of service.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that a life spent loving and serving others leaves a legacy that does not end with goodbye.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Blountville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Victor Young and Minister Daniel Gibson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville.
