Paul Randall Emmert

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pastor Paul Randall Emmert, 67, of Limestone, Tennessee, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, pastor, and friend. A man of unwavering faith, kindness, and love, Randall touched the lives of countless people through his devotion to God and his compassion for others.

Randall was a retired employee of Eastman Chemical Company, former Pastor of Chuckey Methodist Church in Chuckey, Tennessee, and current Pastor of Fairview Methodist Church in Jonesborough, Tennessee. His calling to serve the Lord was more than a title; it was a way of life. He was a Godly man whose faith guided his actions, whose prayers brought comfort, and whose love for his church family reflected the heart of a true servant of God.

To know Randall was to know a genuinely good man. He was a man of integrity, humility, and strength, someone who made a difference, not through grand gestures, but through the love he showed, the wisdom he shared, and the lives he touched. His presence brought comfort, his words carried meaning, and his faith served as an example to those around him.

Above all, Randall cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 44 years, Mitzi, and a loving father to his daughter, Paula. But perhaps one of his greatest joys was being a grandfather to his three grandsons, Garrett, Grayson, and Grantley, whom he loved so dearly. The love he had for his family was immeasurable, and the memories they made together will remain a treasured part of their lives forever.

Randall leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue through his family, his church, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, his life reminds us of the beauty of a life lived in service to God and others. His family finds comfort in knowing that his earthly journey has ended, but his eternal home with his Heavenly Father has begun.

Randall was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Claude and Virginia Emmert.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mitzi Hicks Emmert; his daughter, Paula Emmert Hardin (Howie); and his three cherished grandsons, Garrett, Grayson, and Grantley Reynolds. He is also survived by his siblings, Sheila Ketron (Mike), Jean Horton (Dale), Lawrence Emmert (Sherry), Jerry Emmert (Vickie), and Jeffrey Emmert (Heidi)); and his two grand dogs, Willys and Rubi.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Fairview Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Estell Williams and Pastor Scott Brady officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 687 Pleasant Grove Rd., Limestone, Tennessee 37681. Those wishing may gather at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch at 10:15 to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Howie Hardin, Dennis Davis, Jimmy Rector, Joe Carr, Chris Depew, and David Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Fairview Methodist Congregation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Methodist Church, 878 Hwy 81 N, Jonesborough, Tennessee.
