Pauline Frazier

Pauline Frazier, 80, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home late Sunday evening about 7:30 p.m. Pauline was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett, class of ’64. She was involved in the Colonial Heights Optimist Club, member of Mafair United Methodist Church, and the highlight of her life was caring for and supporting her grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Paul Cox and Ivie Cox; sister, Margaret Vaughn; brother, Paul Cox, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Frazier; children, Denise Frazier Blackwell and Richard Frazier, Jr. and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Olivia Frazier, Paiton Frazier, Skylar Blackwell, Trey Frazier and Blake Frazier; sisters, Doris Cox and Bernice Goins; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ed Smith.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Alford officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Logans Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richard Frazier, Trey Frazier, Ed Smith, Alan Andrzejewski, Brandon Russell and Tony Arnold.
