Peggy Annette Ramey

Peggy Annette Ashworth Ramey passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 after a period of declining health. She was born November 26, 1947.  Peggy was a wonderful wife, loving mom and dear friend. She loved her family and friends. She loved the beach and lighthouses. Her smile could light up a room.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nadiene Ashworth; sister, Charlotte Horne; brothers, Howard Jr., Johnny, David and Carson “Pete” Ashworth; sister-in-law, Wendy; and son-in-law, Sonny.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, of 55 years, Howard Ramey; son and daughter-in-law, David and Lesia Ramey; daughter, Charlotte Brookman; grandson, Josh and Amanda Banks; granddaughters;  Brandy and Dustin Puckett, and Amber Banks; great-grandchildren, Haley, Colton, Caden, Elianna and Coda Banks, and Andrew Puckett; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Honoring her last wishes, there will not be any services.
