Phyllis Jayne Carter, 77, Mt. Carmel, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
She graduated from Church Hill High School in 1957 and went on to the Whitney School of Business.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ada Calhoun.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Carter and her cousin, Bill Calhoun.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
