Polly K. Burns

Mrs. Polly K. Burns, 93, of Kingsport, passed away early Sunday morning, November 10, 2024, at American House Assisted Living. Born in Hawkins County, she had resided in Kingsport since 1949. She was an employee of Cardinal Health until she retired. Polly was of the Baptist faith. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Burns; son, Robert Burns; parents, Rass and Theola Light; and brother, Kermit Light.

Polly is survived by her daughter, Mary Spears and husband, Ike of Kingsport; grandchildren, Melissa Spears, Cindy Chandler and husband, Bobby, Rick Burns, Bobby Burns and wife, Michelle;  several great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law; Anne Burns.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2024. 

Graveside services will follow at noon at East Lawn Memorial Park.
