Ray Harless

Ray Harless, 69, of Kingsport, passed away at his home Thursday, May 16, 2024. Ray had lived here his entire life and was a graduate of Sullivan High School, class of 1973. He was a self-employed craftsman. Ray was an artist and musician, and a lifetime member of #972 Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Harless; two sisters, Loretta Morelock and Sue Hollinger; brother\, Steve Harless; and infant brother, James.

Ray is survived by his brother, Donald Harless; niece, Kim Morelock; nephews, Charlie and Tim Hollinger, Josh, Zackary, and Chase Harless; a host of friends from Big Orange and Moose Lodge; and special friends, Randy Holland, Bob and Melissa Lawson.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow.
