R.C. Roberts

R.C. Roberts, age 97, of Kingsport, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Born in Kingston, Tennessee, he had resided most of his life in Kingsport. R.C. was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean era. He had retired from J.P. Stevens and ran a paint contracting business in his later years. R.C. was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Georgia Roberts; sister, Marie Burton; and nephew, Marine Corp Captain Jerry Burton.

R.C. is survived by his wife of 78 years, Louise Roberts and several other family members.

A graveside service will take place at 12pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Donnie C. Brannen officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 3/265.
