Rebecca (Becky) Bowman Ferguson

Rebecca (Becky) Bowman Ferguson, 82, of Kingsport, went home on March 29, 2016.

She was preceded in death by Worley and Bonnie Bowman; daughter, Edna Fredrick; granddaughter, Amy Riner Mathes; and brother, James Bowman.

She was a loving mother to Connie Riner and husband, Junior, James Ferguson and wife, Angie, Christine Davenport and fiancé, Jim Farmer, and Margaret Reynolds and husband, Ken; grandmother to 19; great-grandmother to 34; and great-great-grandmother to 10. Dear to her heart were Jessalyn and Gage Luther, Zeek Tarleton, and Caden and Liam Ottinger; close friends, Norma Brown, Mary Ferguson and Donna Stapleton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Pete Smith and Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Greene County.
