Reece Morelock

Reece Morelock, age 79, of Mt Carmel, TN, passed away on June 17th, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born in the Beech Creek Community to Earl and Linda Morelock. Reece was co-owner and worked at Big M Auto Parts for several years before retirement.

Reece was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin Morelock and Dexter Morelock.

Reece is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Helen Morelock; brother, Donnie Morelock and wife, Angie; three special nephews, Josh, Timmy and Tommy Morelock; special brother-in-law, Gary Hilton and wife Connie; and special cousin Iva Nell Crawford.

A special thanks goes to all Gentiva Hospice for their quality and loving care given to Reece, as well as Dr. Kevin Misischia.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harold Morelock officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.
