Renee Minton

Renee Minton, 57, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, September 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Renee was a graduate of East TN State University and had spent the majority of her life as a tax accountant and insurance agent. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Ruby Nell Mays.

Renee is survived by her husband, Tim Minton; sons, Nick Minton and wife, Kayla, and Cody Minton and wife, Jenny; sisters, Robin Maxwell and husband, Doug and Regina Mays; brother, Robert Mays; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
