Robert Derry

Robert Derry, 78, of Kingsport, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at his residence. 

Born in Roda, Virginia, he lived in Kingsport for most of his life.  Robert was employed at Armour Food Company where he was a butcher retiring in 1991.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Bella Baker; mother, Ruth Baker; uncle, R.C. Baker; and aunt, Imogene Harden

He is survived by his wife, Nell E. Derry, of the home; son, Robert Timothy Derry; grandchildren, Jonathan Todd Derry and wife Lauren and Nathan Cole Derry and wife Haley; great-grandchildren, Clayton Derry, Leo Derry, Justin Derry, Easton Derry; and aunt, Rosalie O’Dell of Trenton Ohio.

Larry Shuffler served as an honorary pallbearer.
