Scottie Martin Ketron, 43, of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 28, 2007.

Scott worked at Darnell Construction.

He attended Morrison City Freewill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, Orbin Ketron; paternal grandparents, Lola Cox and Ira Ketron; and maternal grandfather, Andrew Bowen.

Scott is survived by his wife, Rita S. Ketron of the home; one daughter, Jessica Ketron, Kingsport, two sons, Travis Goad, Kingsport and Joshua Ketron, U. S. Army in Korea; his mother, Judy Wynegar, Kingsport; four brothers, Steve Ketron and wife, Anita, Carlos Burton and wife, Teresa, Michael Burton and wife, Denise, all of Blountville, Shane Burton and wife, Angela of Panama City, Florida; maternal grandmother, Roselle Bowen; ten nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Betty Gillenwater of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Rick Gillenwater and wife, Amy of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Tammy Hubbard of Knoxville; and special friends, Jeff Hutchins, Bill Bruner, Terry and Michelle Light, Mike Carter, and Darrin Ketron.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Elder Oscar Irvin officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
