Sharon Denise Vaughn

Sharon Vaughn, 55, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center, following an extended illness.

Sharon was born in Baltimore, MD on August 27, 1966, a daughter of Nancy Vaughn and the late Bradley Vaughn. She has resided in this area since February, 1980. She was of the Holiness faith. Sharon had been employed at B-Mart on Stone Drive, at Anderson Healthcare and at Holston Manor.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Bradley Vaughn; sister, Kimberly Vaughn Puckett; paternal grandparents, Evert and Gladys Vaughn, maternal grandparents, Carson and Easter Bishop.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Vaughn, of Kingsport; two daughters, Ashley Vaughn, of Kingsport and Ciera Cradic (Charles), of Kingsport; a son, Ryan Vaughn of Kingsport; six grandchildren; three brothers, Jeff Vaughn, of Kingsport, Michael Vaughn (Ivy), of Kingsport, Markus Vaughn (Rebecca) of Ocala, FL; a sister, Tonia Seay (Jonathan), of Church Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gillis for the special care given to Sharon. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, mom, nana, sister and friend, who loved to work.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7pm, Friday, October 15, 2021 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Chapel, Kingsport, with Pastor Roy Messer and Bro. Jessie Swanner officiating. Special music will be by Jessie and Pearl Swanner.
