Shirley Harris

Shirley Harris, 80, of Gray, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home.  Shirley was a member of Bethel United Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Harris; son, Rick Harris; great-grandson, Alexander; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Pam Greer and husband, Dwayne, and Sandy Blankenbeckler and husband, Wayne; son, Eric Harris and wife, Sheila; 7 grandchildren: 15 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Phyllis Partain, and Valorie Elton and husband, Keith; sister, Linda Reed and husband, Dallas; brothers, Clyde Gentry, Ken Gentry and Carlos, and Johnny Gentry and wife, Pam; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 27^th at 2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
