Shirley Miller

Shirley Temple Miller, age 78, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2026, at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. Born on May 13, 1948, she was the daughter of Herbert J. Fleenor and Mabel Lucille (Leonard) Fleenor. Shirley was born in Bristol, Tennessee and had lived in this area all her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, that will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Ms. Miller was predeceased in death by her parents; son, Michael Miller; sisters, Frances, Shelby and Patty; and brothers, James, Ray and Randall. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Miller and wife, Robin and Darrell Miller; brothers, Kenneth, Bill, John and Roger; sister, Brenda; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Blountville, Tennessee in the Garden of Prayer. The service will be officiated by Pastor Mike Adams and/or Pastor Ryan Shaffer.
