Stanley Fish

Stanley Fish, 90, of Kingsport, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center following a period of declining health. Stanley was born in Kingsport where he had lived his entire life. He was a graduate of Sullivan High School, class of ’51. Stanley was a U.S. Army Veteran and had also served in the Army Reserves. He had retired from Eastman Kodak in 1992. Stanley was active in Cherokee Rod and Gun Club and Outdoorsmen Inc., as well as various other services and organizations.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Fish; son, Allen Fish; one sister, and one brother.

Stanley is survived by his two daughters, Barbara Goforth and Joe, and Linda Mann and Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Paula Fish; four grandchildren, Hunter, Elizabeth (Ben), Brian, and Russell; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Jack; brother, Wayne Fish; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special family friend, Tina Crawford.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Terry Fletcher officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan County Imagination Library, P.O. Box 3045, Kingsport, TN 37664 or Colonial Heights Friends of the Library, 149 Pactolus Rd., Kingsport, TN 37663.
