Steve Neal

Steve Neal, 55, of Piney Flats, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026. Born on February 18, 1971 he has lived in this area all of his life. Steve accepted the Lord as His Savior and has worked at Eastman Chemical Company for 34 years. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and working in his garden.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Jean Neal.

He is survived by his daughter, Alley Neal; son, Hunter Neal; dad, Larry Neal; sister, Tammy Neal; brother, Benny Neal and wife Tammy; aunts, Shelby McNeill and Charlotte Blackburn; uncles, Bill Neal and Gary Johnson; nieces, Whitney Neal and Nikki Goodson; and nephews, Dakota and Billy Jones; and several great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5pm – 7pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Blountville. A service will follow at 7pm with Bro. Brian Holloway and David Jones officiating.

A graveside service will take place at 10am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville.
