Susan "Susie" Linkous

Susan “Susie” Linkous, 71, of Kingsport, died Thursday night, June 27, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Kingsport, she had resided in Carters Valley from 1976-2019 before returning to Kingsport. Susie was a graduate of Sullivan Central High School. She was a homemaker and strong in her faith.

 Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Linkous; and parents, Howard and Margaret Bussey.

 Survivors include her son, Denny Linkous and wife, Michelle; special companion, “Macy;” brother, Jeff Bussey; and many special friends.

 It was Susie’s wish to be cremated and buried beside her husband. No formal services at this time.
