Tammy Renna Napier

Tammy was saved as a small child and loved singing gospel and various other music types. She always welcomed the opportunity to sing, whether the audience was a single friend or large crowd. She was the champion of all animal lovers and always ready to rescue an animal in need. Her fur babies were treated like royalty.

Tammy always brought her fun, energetic laughter and mischevious personality to every gathering. She never saw a “do not touch” sign that she didn’t touch. She had a way of bringing out the inner children in both her and her sister. There was never a dull moment when Jan and Tammy were together. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalms 91:4.

Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Sarah Napier and Cecil and Verna Mann, as well as her father, Bill E. Napier. Their memory remained a guiding presence in her life, and she carried their love with her always.

Tammy is survived by her loving mother, Rose Napier, and her sister, Janet Light, along with Janet’s husband, David Light; her nephew, Jason Light, and his wife, Kara, and great nieces, Raylee and Layla Light, who brought joy and laughter into her days. She also leaves behind many devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of cherished friends who will forever remember her kindness, loyalty, and gentle spirit.

Tammy’s joyful spirit and smile will forever be embedded in the memories of family and friends who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will receive friends and families on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, Tennessee. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Reverend David Gillenwater. Entombment will follow at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park in the Garden of the Apostles.

Pallbearers are Jason Mann, Randy Napier, Brad Shaffer, Matt Hicks, Jason Light, DavidLight Honorary Pallbearers are all of Tammy’s many loving uncles and cousins.
