Teresa Diane Johnson

Teresa Diane Johnson, 60, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025, following a period of declining health. Born in Miami, FL on January 18, 1965, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Johnson. She resided in this area her entire life. Teresa graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School. She volunteered at the Department of Human Services and attended Christ Fellowship Church. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted sister and friend. Those who knew Teresa knew she liked to volunteer, do her many crafts, watch her movies and talk on the phone.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy Hardy and brother, Ronnie Johnson.

Survivors include her brothers, Fred Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Steve Johnson, Paul Johnson and Phil Johnson; sisters-in-law, Jane Johnson and Kim Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Melisha Christian of HMG, for her care.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Phil Johnson, Paul Johnson, Jonathan Johnson and Nathan Ashley.
