Teresa Jean Miller

Teresa Miller, 78, of Gate City, VA passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and was very active in her church and community. Teresa loved to go thrift shopping and to yard sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Vincent Kiser and Eveline Lenada Templeton (and stepdad, George Holzman); and brothers, William Vincent Kiser and James Holzman.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Alfred Conley Miller; kids, Kim Lingerelt and husband, Curtis, Chanin Miller, Al Miller and wife, Mara, and Heather Blevins and husband, Jessee; grandkids, Brittany, Kenny, Angel (Eric), Cody, Drew, Lindsey, Johnathan, Haley, Lynn, Miracle and Cody; great-grandkids, Jayden, Tyrese, Trinity, Kamiya, Abrianna, Zaiden, Marley, Ryder, Karter, Coen and Lucy; great-great-grandson, Deaklen; and sister, Lina Barana.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 with Pastor Michael Booker officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Home National Cemetery.
