Terry Fields

Terry Fields, 73, of Bluff City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born in Kingsport, he had lived in this area most of his life. A graduate of Dobyns Bennett, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a journeyman electrician. Terry was a member of the I.B.E.W. #934. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Louise Fields; parents, Tommy Stamper and Joella Dingus; and sister, Shirley.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Cheyenne and Talisha; sons, Ricky and Brandon “BB”; grandchildren; Isaac Nathaniel, Gracie, Alyssa, Skylar, Savannah, Seth, Aliyah McKenzie and Michala Jo; great grandchild, Holston; sisters, Debra and Diane; brothers, Mike, Steve, Johnnie Ray, Thomas, Jimmy, and Travis; and several nieces, nephews, friends and his furry companion, Peppy.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Blountville. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on April 25, 2026, at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville with Pastor Jeff Millsap officiating. Military rites will be presented by the American Legion Post 3/265 and the Virginia National Guard.
