Tim Malone

Tim Malone, 69, of Piney Flats, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2026 at his home. Tim was a member and former song leader at Beulah Baptist Church. He had retired from Eastman Chemical Company following a career that had spanned over 30 years. Tim was a well-known bluegrass musician. His hobbies included fishing, and trail riding horseback along side his brother Mike “Mo,” who he shared a special bond with.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Thelma Malone; granddaughter, Avery Harrison; brother, Mike “Mo” Malone.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Malone, three daughters, April Piziali and husband John, Jennifer Harrison and husband Darin, Heather Jenkins and husband Freddy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a cousin whom Tim considered a sister, Pam Self.

There will be no formal services per Tim’s request.
