Tommy P. Harris

Tommy P. Harris, 64, of the Beech Creek Community, died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2009, after a brief illness. He was born in Rogersville where he resided all of his life. He was a graduate of Sullivan High School. Tommy was retired and had worked in construction for many years. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gaines Morelock; and a sister, Debbie Cain.

He is survived by his mother, Ona Harris of the home; one brother, Gary Patrick of Rogersville; three aunts, Ruth Wade of Indianapolis, IN, Elsie Harris of the home, and Carlie Trent of Indianapolis, IN; as well as several cousins, one nephew, and three nieces.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Bobby Krtausch officiating.

Graveside services will follow the funeral at Bernard Cemetery in Rogersville.
