Tracy Couch

Tracy Couch, 60, of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Born in Kingsport, she lived in this area all of her life. A graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School, she went on to further her education with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Tracy loved animals and devoted a lot of her life to their care. An avid reader, she pursued knowledge. Tracy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and daughter, caring for her mother while putting her own wants aside. Family was extremely important to her, she professed, lived, and taught it in all she did. She loved and was loved.

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Brenda Hartgrove.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Jason; daughters, Jordan Gamble (Matthew), Correy Lanning (Caleb), Bryanna Couch, and Brooke Couch (Abigail); granddaughter, Taylor Gamble; sister, Billie Fletcher (Geno); and nephew; Christian Fletcher (Renita).
