Tracy Sumpter Cox

Tracy Sumpter Cox, 48, of Kingsport, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Tracy graduated from ETSU with a degree in Nursing. She was a loving mother, nanny, daughter, sister and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Geneva and Beeler Mullins, and Keith and Liddie Bell Minton; and father, Charles Mullins.

Tracy is survived by her 3 daughters, Michaela and Bartt Warner of Hendersonville, TN, Sydney Sumpter and Brandon Harer of Kingsport, and Mackenzie Sumpter and Bryson Salyers of Kingsport; 4 granddaughters, Macy, Madilyn, Natalie and Paxton; mother, Janet Mullins of Kingsport; brother, Beeler Mullins and wife, Karen of Kingsport; the father of her children, Mike Sumpter and wife, Greta, and son, Nick of Rogersville; several cousins; 1 niece and nephew; and special friends, B.J., Cindy and Scott.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tracy's memory to the charity of one's choice.
