Vicki Malone Wood

Vicki Malone Wood, 71, of Bristol, Virginia went to be with the Lord, on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Tennessee where she lived most of her life. Vicki worked as a manager for Sears Optical for many years.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Lester and Nancy Bell Malone; and brother, Aaron Lester Malone, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 35 years, Gordon Wood; daughter, Lesli Averett and husband, Reese; son, Charles Nile Mixon; stepdaughter, Amber Walter and husband Andy; grandchildren, Austin and London Averett; great-granddaughter, Baylee Averett; siblings, David Malone, Beth Stout and husband Mike and Lisa Blankenbeckler; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:30pm – 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Grace Point Church, 1318 Shelby Street, Bristol, Tennessee. A service will follow at 6:30pm with Pastor Richard Baker and Pastor Ken Anderson officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 10:45am on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville.
