Virginia S. Lane

Virginia S. Lane, 94, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Wexford House following a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman W. Lane (1992); parents, I. Houston Smith and Attie B. Smith; and brother, James S. Smith.

Virginia is survived by two daughters, Brenda L. Hunt and husband, Jack E., Kingsport, and Connie L. Dayton and husband, John C., Kingsport; two grandchildren, Lisa H. Taylor and husband, Phillip T., and J. Scott Hunt; and two great-grandchildren, Tristan S. Hunt and Cara Jee Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 2:30 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The graveside service will follow at 3 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
