Wallace Steve "Walt" Baker
Age 71 of Greeneville TN died unexpectedly at his home October 1st, 2014. He was born December 2nd, 1942 in Pound VA to Olaf and Charlotte Baker, now deceased.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa Long and husband Chris, Steffany Winegar, and Charlotte Hite and husband Ronnie. Five grandchildren, Josh Harville, Aaron Cleek, Tiffany McKnight, Jordan Hite and Allyson Long and 2 great grandchildren, Michael Cleek and Roxas McKnight.
He is also survived by 7 siblings Helen Meade and husband William, James Baker, Paul Wayne Baker and wife Dorothy, Larry Baker and wife Pat, Wanda Jewel Kiser and husband Van, Jeannie Meade and husband Jasper, Randy Baker and wife Nancy. As well as countless nephews, nieces, and friends.
He loved writing poetry, gardening and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed woodworking and being a spiritual philosopher to his family and friends. He was a friend of Bill W.
There will be a celebration of his life held on Sunday, October 19th at 3pm at Lisa's home, 1905 Boozy Creek Rd Bristol VA.
