Wiley Richard Osborne

Wiley Richard Osborne, 82, died on June 11, 2026, at The Waters of Bristol after a courageous battle with bone cancer.

Richard Osborne was born in Bristol, Tennessee, and spent most of his life in Kingsport, Tennessee. He retired from his career as a pipefitter/welder at Eastman Chemical Company, working for Fluor Daniels. His career, spanning 50 years, took him all over the Northeast working union contracts.

Richard was widowed in November 2021 when his wife of 53 years passed.

The Osborne family would like to thank the nursing staff at the VA and The Waters for their exceptional care.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, John Osborne; his mother, Julia Osborne; his brother, Dan Osborne; his wife, Linda Osborne; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Osborne and Teresa Osborne.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his three sons, Todd Osborne and wife Amy, Phillip Osborne and wife Nichole, and Matthew Osborne and wife Carrie; his grandson, Nickolas Osborne, and Nickolas' girlfriend, Kylie; special cousin, Callie Jane Harless; his brothers, John Osborne and wife Mary, Jim Osborne, and Bill Osborne; and his sister, Mary Sue Osborne.

Richard was a very hard worker and would do anything for anyone.
