Bobby Garst, 87, Fall Branch, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Brookdale Colonial Heights.
He was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a veteran of the United States Army. Bobby retired from Tennessee Eastman following 39 years of service. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church for over 60 years where he had served as chairman of deacons, deacon, Sunday School teacher, training union teacher, Bible Study leader, choir member, and a great friend to all the pastors. Bobby would always want to share his faith in Jesus. John 3:16.
His wives, Mildred Brown Garst (48 years) and Mildred Parker Garst (1 and a half years); parents, Dan and Gladys Garst, and one sister Susie Keys preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Danny Garst and wife Judy; two step daughters, Jeannie Williams and husband Alan and Joann Parker and the rest of the Parker family; brother, Ronnie Garst and wife Carol; two nieces, Belinda Walls and husband Eddie, Elizabeth Russell; three nephews, Greg Garst, John Brown and wife Barbara, Russell Brown and wife Shirley; and several great nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday (May 15, 2020) at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Owens officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice team for the months of great care and a special thanks to the team at Brookdale Assisted Living at Colonial Heights for the great care, but more importantly the amazing love shown to Bobby.
