Helen Bragg Dykes

Helen Bragg Dykes, 91, Lone Star Community, went home to be with her Lord and Savior and husband, Miles on Sunday, December 29, 2019.  Helen was born in Sullivan County where she had lived her entire life.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles in 2017; infant daughter, Lisa; parents, R. A. and Mellie Bragg; nephew, Robert; and brothers, Tom Lee, I.J. and wife, Janet, and George.

Helen is survived by her sister and caregiver, Ruby Bragg; nieces, Anicia, and Jennifer and husband, David; nephew, Jason and wife, Susie; great-niece, Julianne; and great-nephews, Brandon, Tyler, I.J and Dalton.

Special appreciation to Dr. Delwadia and his staff, Dr. Nakhoul and his staff, and to Heather with Amedysis Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Walker Fork Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Danny Dolen officiating.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
