Jeremy Perkins

Jeremy Perkins, 37, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. Jeremy was a member of Calvary Church in Johnson City. Jeremy loved the Lord with all of his heart and always put him first in his life. He was bigger than life, fun loving, had a big heart, contagious laugh, and an infectious smile that would light up any room. Jeremy worked hard but always made time to help others.  He was an honorable man who served his country with the 776 Support Maintenance Company Army National Guard. Jeremy worked for K-VA-T Corporate Support Center (Food City) for the past 11 years with faithfulness and integrity, took pride in his job, and treated all of his co-workers like family. He loved the outdoors, adored his wife and loved coaching his kids through life. His family was the center of his world, always giving above and beyond to meet their needs.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Craig and Velma Morton and Joy (Granny) Perkins.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Patricia Cody Perkins; son, Benjamin Perkins; daughter, Emma Perkins; parents, Dwight and JoAnna Perkins; two brothers, David Perkins and wife Gwen; Justin Perkins and wife Lacy; sister, Glory Broyles and husband Brad; grandparents, Jake and Linda Perkins; in-laws, Donald and DeAnna Sluss and Tony and Donna Cody; two brothers-in-law, Daniel Sluss and wife Ashley, and Mark Cody; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to concerns of COVID, there will be no public visitation or service. Jeremy’s service, however, will be live streamed on www.visitcalvary.com or on Facebook at 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, November 19, 2020.
