Joseph Adam Pelletier

Joseph A. “Bo” Pelletier, 55, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 2, 2020, as a result of an ATV accident. Born in Washington, DC on October 21, 1964, a son of the late Joseph A. and Leora McKinney Pelletier, he has resided in this area most of his life. Bo graduated from Hampton High School in 1982. He was a veteran of Desert Storm, having served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Bo worked at E. Luke Green for 14 years, and USA Ready Mix for 2 years. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted papa, brother, and friend, who loved cars, guns, four-wheelers, and being with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Henson Pelletier, in 2014; and son-in-law, Jason Fleming.

Bo is survived by his fiancé, Ina Jo Hyder of Kingsport; daughter, Kim Fleming of Blountville; son, Joshua Baskett of Blountville; eleven grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Will, and Jack Fleming, Cayden, Alexis, Evye, and Lily Baskett, Lilly and Eva Yeager, and Bentley Hyder; special children, Blaze and Mary Jo Yeager, and Daniel and Kathy Hyder; siblings, Pamela Adams of Hampton, and Cliff Pelletier and wife Teresa of Hampton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Junior McKinney officiating.

Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, February 8, 2020, in Monte Vista Memorial Park with Military Honors accorded by The American Legion, Hammond Posts #3 and Gate City Post #/265.  Those attending committal services are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 a.m Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Cody Dickens, Blaze Yeager, Daniel Hyder, Norman Neil, Mike Shell, Joseph D. Freeman, Scott Beaver, and Jeff Fuller. Honorary pallbearers will be Cayden Baskett, Josh Baskett, Jacob Fleming, Will Fleming, and Jack Fleming.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
