Reva Cochran

Reva Sue Cochran, 89, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Reva was born in Blount County, TN. She was an RN, graduating from Ft. Sanders School of Nursing, and then attended U.T. Reva was a nurse at Ft. Sanders, Holston Valley Medical Center, and Holston Defense. Reva was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Garden Club, Live Poets Club, Christian Women’s Club, Cheer Ladies, and served in the nursing home as a volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Earl Dean Cochran.

Reva is survived by her son, Alan Cochran and wife Anna of Fairfax, Virginia; and sister, Frances Nicholson of Huntsville, AL.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Misti McCreary officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
